Two 桃子视频 equine students wrapped up an exciting internship at the college鈥檚 western barn, which enabled them to participate at Central New York Reining Horse Association (CNYRHA) shows and take home numerous awards.
Victoria Epstein, of Liberty, and Lindsey Eberle, of Holbrook, competed in the Green Reiner 1 and Green Reiner 2 classes to accumulate points for year-end awards, both through the CNYRHA Club and the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA).
Both earned numerous accolades, including the most recent: Epstein was High Point NRHA Green Reiner 2 saddle series and High Point CNYRHA Green 1 Rider, also winning the Kurt Beisecker Memorial trophy. Eberle was reserve High Point NRHA Green 2 for the saddle series.
鈥淭his is a very competitive class full of riders competing for this coveted saddle,鈥 said Julie Corey, assistant professor of equine science and a coach of the college鈥檚 Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) western team.
Epstein and Eberle rode Lola and Kicks and Giggles, horses which were donated to the college鈥檚 western program, to their wins.
鈥淲e are lucky to have these two talented horses in our barn for the students to utilize and I can鈥檛 thank the donors enough who support our program,鈥 Corey said.
Epstein and Eberle, both equine science western specialization students, also are members of the college鈥檚 IHSA western team.
